




Pastor Rick has served in full-time pastoral ministry for over 22 years in the Pennsylvania-Delaware and Potomac Districts. He is a 1985 Graduate of Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, with a B.S.B. degree in Pastoral Studies. Before coming to Waynesburg on June 10, 2007, Rick served as the Senior pastor at Fearnot Assembly of God in Hegins, Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2007.
Rick loves people and he finds fulfillment in reaching out with the power of God’s love. His vision is to strengthen the church’s ties with the surrounding communities by developing ministries which touch the lives of young and old alike. He hopes to partner with other ministries to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people in our towns. He views the church’s newly constructed Family Life Center as an important tool in developing programs which will meet people where they live. He believes that innovation and excellence in ministry are made possible when God’s people love Him with all of their hearts and love their neighbors enough to reach out by all possible means and are willing to be become “all things to all men” in order to win some. The Spirit of God makes all things possible.
Rick and his wife Robin (Penney) have been married since November 23, 1985. Robin has been very involved within various church ministries throughout the 22 years of their marriage and ministry. She also is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education.
Together Robin and Rick have three children.
Jessica, 20, is a graduate of Tri Valley High School in Valley View, Pennsylvania. She is a junior at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Christian Ministries and plans to graduate in the spring of 2009. Jessica has a vivacious personality and she is fully committed to serving God’s call upon her life to work with young people.
Ashley is 17 years of age and she is a senior enrolled at Waynesburg Central High School. She plans to attend College in the fall of 2008, and to major in Music Performance. She is an honors student and she loves to sing.
Jonathan is 15 years of age and he is enrolled at Waynesburg Central High School as a sophomore. Jonathan loves to sing and play the guitar for the Lord. He is fun loving and he is an extremely social teen who loves the Lord Jesus. He enjoys playing soccer as well. The Ritenour family and the whole church body of First Assembly of God invite you to worship the Living Christ at a Living Church.
Pastor Craig and Amber Cross have been at First Assembly of God for two years. During that time they have ministered to the Youth of the church and have given oversight to the areas of Christian Education. They have two sons, Evan and Nolan.
Pastor Craig and Amber are both graduates of Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenxiville, Pennyslvania. Craig graduated in 1999 with the Bachelors of Science in Pastoral Ministry. Amber graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
Pastor Craig is a gifted speaker and he has a heart for the things of God. He is the director of R.A.G.E. (Reaching A Generation Eternally) Youth Ministries at First Assembly of God. R.A.G. E. meets each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the Family Life Center.
He invites teens to be a part of this dynamic ministry. The Youth are involved in Local, District, and National events and activities, such as Bible Quiz, Fine Arts, Youth Convention and Winter Retreats.
Amber is a gifted pianist and vocalist. She is involved in the worship ministry of the church and she ministers to the children of the church.
Prior to coming to First Assembly of God, Pastor Craig and Amber served at the Assembly of God Church in Northeast, Pennsylvania with Pastor Gerald Olshevski. They had a very successful tenure as Youth pastors there. They look forward to meeting you.
Kathy Haas has served the church as the office secretary since 2002. She offers the church excellence in every aspect of office administration. The pastoral staff, church board, and the congregation deeply appreciate the efficient and Christ-like service that Kathy brings to the office. Her thorough knowledge of the church’s daily workings and her sensitivity to others bless the pastoral staff tremendously. Kathy is married to Walter Haas and they together make a wonderful contribution to the ministry efforts of First Assembly. They together have a heart for missions both at home and abroad. They make First Assembly of God a brighter and better place.
Patty Headlee has served the church for many years in various capacities. Patty has been very active in the church throughout the years. She continues to render excellent service to the pastoral staff, church board, and to the congregation. Patty does a tremendous job as the church’s book keeper and in so many other areas of ministry. She and husband Donald are a tremendous blessing to the church and local community in so many ways.
Donald H. Headlee has served the church in many different ways. He has provided the church with much needed expertise in the areas of maintenance. Donald has the heart of a servant and he is always a soft spoken and reliable reference for those needing assistance or advice. His service to the church is invaluable. He and his family are deeply loved and appreciated.
